Buğra Bahçeci

He was born in Ankara in 1983 and completed his primary and secondary education there.

At the age of thirteen, his path crossed with actor Ali Nihat Yavşan, from whom he received his first theater training. He also had his first stage experience that same year.

He received foundational acting training at Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu and, from a young age, took on many responsibilities in the theater, particularly as an actor.

Until completing high school, he performed in many plays and, despite his young age, shared the stage with numerous distinguished masters of theater.

He moved to İzmir to complete his undergraduate and graduate studies at Ege University and never left. During this period, he continued acting with the Ege University Theater Society and appeared in many productions. With the approval of Ege University's Department of Health, Culture and Sports, he helped establish the theater society Tiyatro 7 within the Faculty of Science and served on the jury that selected its first actors. Throughout university, he performed with many companies both on and off campus, acting and working as an assistant director in dozens of plays.

After completing university, he continued to work as an actor and director with various theater companies until 2023. He appeared in numerous productions and shared his knowledge with people interested in theater through educational activities.

In 2023, he joined Tiyatro Arkadaş and took part in many productions there. In 2024, he helped establish Pier Sahne together with Halil İzmirli. He continues to serve as a member of the theater's Board of Directors.

Over his 30-year theater career, he has studied with many master actors and participated in countless acting courses, certificate programs, workshops and train-the-trainer programs. He has taken on important responsibilities in more than one hundred productions, particularly in acting and directing. He has played a significant role in introducing people of all ages to theater and supporting their education, sharing his knowledge of creative drama and theater with countless children and young people and contributing to the development of many actors.
